Introducing REBA RED, an artist who effortlessly weaves together the soulful sounds of Neo-Soul, Modern Jazz, and R&B. With a deep-rooted passion for music nurtured by a family immersed in various genres, REBA RED's artistic journey was always destined to unfold. Influenced by a blues and jazz-loving grandfather, an R&B and soul enthusiast mother, and older sisters who were skilled wordsmiths in the world of hip-hop, REBA RED is emerging as the torchbearer, transforming their musical inclination into a flourishing career.
While REBA RED had previously collaborated with industry professionals, it was in 2022 when the artist decided to wholeheartedly pursue music, setting the stage for her breakthrough. The Garden Music EP, a collaborative effort with dear friend Big Dreamz, became a pivotal release, capturing attention from both fans and industry insiders. The EP served as the catalyst, opening doors to prestigious platforms such as JR's Feel Good Live Session and The Basadi Music Awards' red carpet opening performance.

"Awake" is the chosen title of her solo debut project (29 September 2023) following the collaborative "Garden Music" EP that was released in February 2022. This 4 track offering has Reba Red exploring one of her favourite styles of music - Bossa Nova and begins with a poignant self-penned poem born out of frustration, marking the turning point that awakened REBA RED's inner self and fueling the project's title. Within "Awake," REBA RED fearlessly delves into themes of introspection, vulnerability and personal growth. The EP is accompanied by a short film executive produced by the artist herself.
